Learn How To Be Married

MOST COUPLES DON'T KNOW "HOW" TO BE MARRIED

Adventures in Marriage (AIM) is internationally recognized as one of the very best relationship education programs in the field.  Most couples do not know “how” to be married.  They never learned the right way to build a strong marriage that will last.  Instead they grew up watching unhealthy relationships and then assumed somehow their marriage would turn out different.

Adventures in Marriage is a highly interactive program that teaches couples the practical “hands on” skills essential to build a healthy, thriving marriage that can go the distance.  AIM helps couples discover better ways to meet one another’s needs, communicate, resolve conflicts, express anger, avoid dirty fighting, and understand how their personality styles impact relationships for better or worse.

Fun, practical, and easy to learn, Adventures in Marriage is appropriate for couples at any age or stage. AIM is designed to reach couples across the spectrum – it helps couples with good marriages discover how to have a great marriage, and it helps distressed marriages reboot and learn a much better way.

In this 11-session program, presenter Jeff Cavins shows how the teachings of James speak to those of us who feel torn between the competing demands of this world and our Faith.

James, one of the most practical books of the Bible, is a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life. Meant to help a fledgling Church live out its Faith in the face of persecution and a worldview opposed to the gospel, in this program, you’ll discover wisdom you can apply to the present.

This group will meet weekly to discuss the assigned readings and reflection questions, led by trained facilitators. Following discussion, the group will wrap up the lesson with a teaching video from Jeff Cavins.

$30 per person, includes workbook and digital access to the videos. Full & partial scholarships available.

Starts September 5, 2023 | Ends November 14, 2023

Tuesdays | 9:15-11am | Meets in the Trailer

The St. Vincent de Paul ministry is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to serving those in need in the local community. Inspired by the teachings of Christ and the example of St. Vincent de Paul, the ministry strives to bring love, compassion, and hope to those who are struggling.

The ministry provides a wide range of services, including emergency financial assistance, food assistance, and referrals for other social services. Volunteers work closely with local agencies and organizations to ensure that those in need receive the support they require.

In addition to the direct services provided, the St. Vincent de Paul ministry also offers a variety of opportunities for volunteers to get involved and make a difference. Whether it's through serving at the food pantry, providing transportation for those in need, or participating in the annual Thanksgiving dinner, there are many ways to support the ministry and serve the community.

The ministry believes that every person is deserving of love, respect, and dignity. They are committed to serving all members of the community, regardless of their background or circumstances. Anyone who is looking for a way to make a meaningful impact in the world and live out their faith in action is welcome to join the St. Vincent de Paul ministry.
