St. Dominic Catholic Church welcomes all young adults in their 20s and 30s to the Young Professional Fellowship (YPF) community. YPF provides a supportive and engaging environment for young adults to grow in their faith together.

YPF is a community that is open to all young adults, regardless of where they are on their faith journey. We collaborate with St. John the Evangelist parish to provide opportunities for young adults to deepen their relationship with God and each other, through a variety of events and activities.

Through our community, young adults can find a sense of belonging and support, as well as the tools they need to navigate the challenges and opportunities of young adulthood. We believe that together, we can grow in our faith and become the best versions of ourselves that God has called us to be. Join us at St. Dominic Catholic Church for the Young Professional Fellowship and experience the joy of growing in faith with like-minded peers. All are welcome!

In the Letter to the Hebrews we hear that "the word of God is living and effective" Hebrews 4:12. When the word of God is proclaimed, God himself meets his people and lives are changed. The ministry of Lector is all about leading people to encounter God through his word.

If you are interested in being formed as a lector here at St. Dominic, please reach out to Lora McCalister-Cruel using the email below!

At St. Dominic Catholic Church, we invite all men and young men of the parish, 1st communion age and older, to prayerfully consider the ministry of altar serving. Parents, please encourage your sons to serve at the altar!

As an altar server, you are involved in the holiest and most sacred events of Catholic worship. As you assist the priest in celebrating the Holy Mass you are facilitating the encounter between God and his people.

"Therefore in the liturgy you are far more than mere "helpers of the parish priest". Above all, you are servants of Jesus Christ, the eternal High Priest. Thus you altar servers especially are called to be young friends of Jesus. Strive to deepen and foster this friendship with him. You will discover that in Jesus you have found a true friend for life...I have spoken of friendship with Jesus. How happy I would be if something more sprang from this friendship! How beautiful it would be if some of you could discover a vocation to the priesthood! Jesus Christ urgently needs young people who generously make themselves available to him without reserve." St. John Paul II

Perpetual Adoration is a Eucharistic devotion whereby we unite in taking hours of adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament both during the day and throughout the night, seven days a week. This is a great way to spend some time one on one with the Lord, encountering the Lord of all the universe who humbles himself and appears to us in our midst. This is also a great opportunity to intercede for your needs, the needs of your family, our parish, Bay county, our country and our world. Through perpetual adoration members of our parish storm the gates of heaven asking for a renewed encounter with the Lord and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Click here to commit to an hour every week to come and adore the Eucharistic Lord!

Beginning On Epiphany Sunday 1/07/2024

24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Current Location: The Adoration Chapel inside the east side of the Church building. Call the office, or reach out to the coordinator for the relevant door codes.
