Prayer Is Powerful
At Saint Dominic Catholic Church, our success in fulfilling our parish mission is based first and foremost by connecting with God through Prayer.
In the Catholic Tradition, prayer takes many varied forms, from prayer as a community at daily or weekend Mass, spending time individually with Jesus in our Adoration Chapel, prayerful methods of reading about Jesus in Sacred Scripture such as Lectio Divina or simply taking time to talk with Jesus in personal prayer.
CCC 2664 There is no other way of Christian prayer than Christ. Whether our prayer is communal or personal, vocal or interior, it has access to the Father only if we pray “in the name” of Jesus.
As a community, we would love to pray for you, your family and your personal intentions. If you find yourself in need of prayer, we are here for you as your parish family. Fill out the form below and we’ll get our team praying for you. Also, if you are a prayer warrior who would like to help in our mission to pray for our parish family members, give us your name and contact information and we’ll put you on the front lines!
