All are invited to join a Connect Group at St. Dominic! Whether you’re a long-time parishioner, curious about Christianity, or anywhere in between, these groups are for you. Some groups meet in homes; others meet online. We offer a variety of group demographics: women only, men only, adult men & women, young adults, and Spanish-speaking groups. Groups meet at a variety of times and days of the week. Let us help you find one that works for you!
What happens in Connect Groups?
It’s a very simple concept: we share a meal together (usually potluck style); we listen as someone shares their testimony; we pray with readings from the Bible; then we pray for one another. In Connect Groups, you’ll discover how active God is in our midst and we’ll learn to share those stories. We learn to give and receive prayer. We learn how the Holy Spirit is speaking to us through the sacred words of the Bible.
In all this, no one ever has to say a word. You are welcome to come and just listen – we won’t force you to talk or share your feelings. You are welcome to check out any group or all the groups – no commitment or obligation. If you miss a week, no problem. In Connect Groups, no one ever “gets behind”. We just want to welcome you in friendship and faith, and offer a place for our community to feel loved and wanted.
